Key Responsibilities:

  • Shipment Coordination: Manage and oversee all aspects of air export shipments, from initial booking through to final delivery, ensuring that timelines are met and customer expectations are exceeded.
  • Documentation Management: Prepare, review, and process all necessary export documentation, including airway bills, invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international shipping regulations.
  • Customer Communication: Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on shipment status, addressing any concerns, and resolving issues as they arise to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Carrier Liaison: Work closely with airlines, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners to secure bookings, negotiate rates, and ensure that shipments are handled efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about the latest international trade regulations and ensure that all shipments comply with customs, export control, and other relevant regulations.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify potential issues in the shipping process and implement solutions to avoid delays or additional costs. This includes handling any discrepancies, delays, or customs holds that may occur.
  • Tracking and Reporting: Monitor the progress of shipments, providing detailed tracking updates to clients and internal stakeholders. Maintain accurate records and generate reports as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in air export operations.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of export documentation, international trade regulations, and customs procedures. Familiarity with industry-specific software and logistics management systems.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in handling documentation and managing shipment details.
