NTS is Hiring: Manager, Quality Assurance (FAA Part 135)

Location: Louisiana

Compensation: $110,000–$140,000 | FAA-Regulated Environment

We’re looking for a proven Quality Assurance leader to take full ownership of QA programs across flight operations and maintenance in a highly regulated aviation environment.

This is a high-impact, leadership role where you’ll work closely with executive leadership and regulatory authorities to drive compliance, safety, and continuous improvement .

What You’ll Own

• Lead and manage the Quality Assurance Program (FAA Part 135/145)
• Drive audit strategy (internal, external, vendor)
• Own Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA) and ensure timely resolution
• Act as the primary liaison with FAA & external auditors
• Deliver QA metrics, trends, and insights to leadership
• Oversee documentation, training records & vendor compliance (AVL)
• Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives

✅ What You Bring

• 10+ years in FAA Part 135 operations
• 5+ years in QA leadership (Manager level or above)
• Strong experience with FAA compliance, audits, and regulatory requirements
• Hands-on experience with CASS programs (highly preferred)
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 / AS9110 quality standards
• Proven ability to lead teams and influence safety culture
• Experience interfacing directly with FAA as a QA authority
• Rotor-wing/helicopter operations experience strongly preferred
