Job Summary

The Site Safety Manager supports project teams in maintaining a strong safety culture by developing and implementing site-specific safety plans and ensuring compliance with all applicable safety regulations. This role leads safety initiatives, monitors jobsite conditions, and works closely with project leadership, subcontractors, and field personnel to promote a safe and incident-free work environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Project Safety Plan and Safety Roadmap
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations
• Lead incident and injury investigations and implement corrective actions
• Prepare and submit weekly safety reports, including Total Case Incident Reports
• Conduct jobsite safety audits and monitor subcontractor compliance
• Support and participate in weekly toolbox talks and safety meetings
• Assist with safety training and promote a strong safety culture across project teams
• Collaborate with project leadership and field staff to identify and address safety risks

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in EHS, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
• OSHA 30 Construction certification required
• BCSP certification preferred
• CPR/First Aid certification required (trainer preferred)
• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards (NFPA, NESC, ASTM, ANSI)
• Experience in construction safety and jobsite environments
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
