Hermes Landscaping is a nationally recognized, award-winning company that has served the Kansas City metro for over 60 years. We operate across commercial construction, landscape maintenance, snow & ice management, and residential design-build. What we need now is a Director of Business Operations ready to take everything we've built and drive it into the next generation.

What you'll be doing:

You'll report directly to the CEO and lead the business side of our operation. You’ll be the one who keeps everything running. That means:

• Administration: Keeping the day-to-day humming across the entire company.
• IT: Managing software implementation and systems that actually work.
• Facilities: Creating safe, appealing environments for our team and clients.
• Compliance & Safety: OSHA, DOT, audits, claims, you handle it so no one else has to lose sleep over it.
• Legal & Risk Management: Contracts, insurance, workers' comp, liability, you're the point of contact and the last line of defense.
• Corporate Assets & Real Estate: From procurement to lease agreements to capital improvements, you manage it all.
• And above all, People: Weekly 1-on-1s, coaching, development, building a team that doesn't just perform but grows.

Who we're looking for:

A bachelor's in Business Administration or 5–7 years in senior operations or project management. Construction or related industry experience preferred. Beyond credentials, we need someone who communicates with precision, executes without excuses, develops the people around them, and never stops asking how we can be better.
