Eligibility & Prior Authorization Specialist (RCM) – Clearwater, FL (Onsite)

TempExperts is partnering with a rapidly growing healthcare technology organization to identify a detail-oriented Eligibility & Prior Authorization Specialist to join their Revenue Cycle Management team. What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring accurate and timely insurance verification and authorization processes to support patient services. Responsibilities include:

• Verify patient demographics, insurance eligibility, and benefits
• Obtain and confirm prior authorizations and referrals
• Ensure compliance with payer guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Review and process insurance verification and authorization requests
• Assign appropriate codes (CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10) as needed
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve missing or incomplete information
• Address claim issues, including rejections and resubmissions
• Support additional billing and revenue cycle functions as needed

What We’re Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience in insurance verification, authorization, or revenue cycle management
• Strong understanding of payer guidelines, eligibility, and authorization processes
• Familiarity with medical terminology and coding (preferred)
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume environments
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and healthcare systems/EMR platforms
• Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
