Export Coordinator (Air & Ocean) | Atlanta, GA | Salary up to $65,000

Responsible for managing end-to-end export shipments, ensuring compliance with international regulations, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage international export shipments via air and ocean from origin to final destination
• Prepare and review export documentation (e.g., commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, air waybills)
• Ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations and international trade laws
• Communicate with carriers, overseas agents, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely shipment execution
• Arrange bookings with airlines and ocean carriers
• Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or issues
• Maintain accurate shipment records and update internal systems
• Provide rate quotations and support pricing requests as needed
• Ensure all files are billed accurately and closed in a timely manner
• Deliver high-quality customer service and build strong client relationships

Qualifications & Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or export coordination (air and/or ocean)
• Strong knowledge of export documentation and international shipping procedures
• Familiarity with U.S. export compliance regulations (e.g., AES filings, Incoterms)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
