House Manager – Palm Beach, Florida

A highly established family in Palm Beach is seeking an experienced, proactive House Manager to oversee multiple residences and ensure the seamless day-to-day operation of the family's properties. The ideal candidate is resourceful, highly organized, solutions-oriented, and possesses a strong sense of ownership and discretion.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, with flexibility for evenings and weekends as needed

Compensation: $125,000–$150,000, commensurate with experience

Key Qualifications

• Positive, can-do attitude with exceptional problem-solving abilities
• Strong sense of urgency and follow-through
• Ability to independently identify issues and implement solutions
• Experience managing luxury residences, estates, or private households preferred
• High level of discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality
• Wine knowledge is a plus
• Ability to travel as needed

Responsibilities

Property & Estate Management

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of four residences (two in Florida and two in Aspen)
• Ensure all homes, grounds, and systems are maintained to the highest standards
• Coordinate and monitor:
  • Landscaping
  • Pool maintenance
  • HVAC systems
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical and lighting systems
  • Audio/visual systems
  • Vehicle maintenance and servicing
  • General repairs and preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot household systems and coordinate repairs with vendors

Staff & Vendor Management

• Supervise and coordinate household staff, including two full-time housekeepers
• Manage relationships with contractors, service providers, and vendors
• Track employee hours and assist with scheduling
• Ensure all vendors perform work efficiently and to expected standards

Household Operations

• Maintain smooth day-to-day household operations
• Manage household security and monitor related systems
• Coordinate vehicle registrations, maintenance, detailing, and service appointments
• Track household expenses and maintain organized records
• Oversee closet organization and wardrobe management
• Manage wine inventory and cellar organization

Personal Assistance

• Coordinate packing and unpacking for travel
• Run personal and household errands
• Assist with travel preparation and logistics
• Provide light meal preparation and family dinners when needed
• Travel periodically to Aspen and other family properties to support household operations
