Job Description

We are partnering with a well-established company in the Pilsen neighborhood to hire a Bilingual HR Assistant. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their HR career who is looking to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of Human Resources.

This role offers exposure to a variety of HR functions, including onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and administrative support—making it an excellent stepping stone for long-term growth in HR.

Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, new hire paperwork, and employee file maintenance
• Assist with benefits administration and employee inquiries
• Help coordinate interviews and support the recruiting process
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with company policies
• Translate documents and communicate with Spanish-speaking employees as needed
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team

Qualifications:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
• 1+ year of administrative or HR experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• High attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Eagerness to learn and grow within Human Resources
