Snyder Solutions LLC is the fastest growing mechanical/plumbing contractor company in the Richmond, VA area for over the last seven years. We specialize in project sizes ranging from $1M - $15M. We are seeking a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Estimator/Project Manager to join our team. This role is vital in preparing accurate project estimates and management that support our company's growth and reputation for excellence. The position will be based in Richmond, VA and contribute to our mission of delivering top-tier mechanical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC projects using industry-standard tools such as ProCore and Bluebeam.
• Analyze project plans and specifications to determine scope of work.
• Assist in negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor project costs and update estimates as needed to ensure profitability.
• Support the teams during project execution to control costs.
• Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technology to improve estimating accuracy.
• Ensure all estimates comply with company policies and client requirements.
• All preconstruction paperwork.
• All close out paperwork.
• Keeping up with RFI and change orders during construction.
• Coordinate and work with the operations manager.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial construction within the HVAC or mechanical contracting industry. Do not have to had previous experiencer as an estimator or project manager.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, ProCore, and other estimating and project managing software.
• Strong people skills and communication skills.
• Understanding the HVAC code.
• Excellent understanding of construction processes, cost control, and pricing strategies.
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and specifications.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Good with technology.
• Engineering degree is a plus.
