· Expertise in IBM DataStage version 11.5 or above,DB2, Unix and SQL.
· Proficiency in SQL or another relevant language.
· Should be able to work independently on ETL development project including, design and implementation.
· Collaborate with team members to implement best practices for job development, testing, and deployment. Identify improvements and automation opportunities for our internal processes and procedures.
· Author and maintain internal documentations.
· Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner.
· Experience with DataStage cloud implementation using IBM Cloud Pak is nice to have.
· Work with the architects, developers, offshore, business and technology stakeholders in a complex environment across different geographic locations.
· Ability to champion pragmatic, strategic technology alternatives which deliver short term results while contributing to long-term strategic direction.
· Experience in Waterfall and/or Agile Methodologies.
