About the role
This position is responsible for developing, coding, testing, and execution of new business functionality for talbots.com web site and mobile. It requires being fully aware of and staying on top of the marketing cadence, as well as being able to adapt quickly to changes in a fluid environment. Stay up to date on new and upcoming functionality in the industry to ensure our site is moving forward and benefiting the customer’s Omni-channel experience. Monitoring and tuning of front end site performance is expected.
The impact you can have
Use the Salesforce Commerce Cloud to build and develop homepage, landing page and various site content using responsive HTML/CSS templates
Work closely with Brand/Online Marketing and Creative on new projects
Utilize Adobe Target in support of A/B testing
Review new functionality and competitor sites to offer suggestions and make proposals for new web functionality
Update and maintain technical code documentation
Assist with trouble shooting any issues that are customer facing
Is on-call on nights, weekend, and holidays to verify migrations to support marketing promotions or for any HTML web site related emergencies
Performs ad hoc requests per direction of manager/director
You’ll bring to the role
Knowledge and experience at a level normally acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of strong foundational Web Development experience
Must have knowledge and experience with responsive HTML/CSS
Must have knowledge and experience with cross browser/devise testing
Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience is a plus
Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Must be able to work quickly and accurately in a deadline driven production environment that changes frequently and sometimes on short notice
Work independently as well as part of a team

The target salary range for this role is: $57,000 - $70,000
Hybrid: This position works in a hybrid model, with required days worked in the Talbots office location in Hingham, MA as defined by business needs.
