Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and professionally at check-out
- Schedule follow-up appointments and provide patients with necessary documentation
- Collect co-pays and process payments accurately
- Verify and update patient information in the electronic medical records (EMR) system
- Answer patient questions regarding appointments, billing, and procedures
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Maintain a clean and organized check-out area
- Perform other administrative duties as needed
Qualifications: - 1+ year of experience in a medical office setting (preferred)
- Knowledge of insurance verification and EMR systems a plus
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
