Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) | Full-Time | Pediatric Outpatient | Roanoke, VA

This full-time Pediatric Physical Therapist opportunity offers the chance to work with a diverse pediatric population in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment. You will collaborate closely with occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals to help children achieve their functional goals and maximize independence. Your Role

  • Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans for pediatric patients.
  • Provide evidence-based pediatric physical therapy interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and functional independence.
  • Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physicians, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate families and caregivers on home exercise programs and strategies to support continued progress.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company, state, and payer requirements.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive, patient-centered clinic culture.
  • Support clinical excellence through ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent legacy degree (MSPT/MPT/BPT) from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Current Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
  • Pediatric physical therapy experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and patient advocacy skills.
  • Passion for helping children achieve their highest level of function and participation.
