Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Weekend Rotation: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM Overtime, holidays, and weekends may be required based on business needs

About the Role We are seeking a detail‑oriented and reliable Pharmacy Floor Technician to support daily pharmacy operations. In this role, you will assist in preparing prescriptions for final verification by a licensed pharmacist while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in a fast‑paced environment. This position plays a critical role in supporting patient safety, regulatory compliance, and timely medication fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately fill daily medication orders under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist Pick, pull, label, scan, and package medications from designated storage areas, including shelving and prepack racks Prepare finished prescriptions for final pharmacist verification Apply labels to blister cards and scan products to ensure accuracy Notify the pharmacist on duty of any medication or product that does not scan properly Assist with processing returned medications, including recycling or disposal according to established procedures Prepack frequently ordered medications during low‑volume periods, including labeling and storage Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned workstations Replenish stock and supplies as needed to support daily operations Follow all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA Comply with departmental policies related to safety, attendance, and dress code Support additional tasks or projects as assigned to meet business needs
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Ability to work at a moderate, consistent pace in a production‑based environment Active and clear Illinois Pharmacy Technician License issued by the Illinois Board of Pharmacy (must be maintained throughout employment)
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a pharmacy, healthcare, or production environment Familiarity with medication picking, labeling, and scanning processes Ability to work effectively in a team‑based, fast‑paced setting Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
