Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Aide/Technician to join our healthcare team in Centreville. In this role, you will support licensed physical therapists in delivering quality patient care and maintaining a smooth-running therapy environment.

• Assist physical therapists with patient treatment sessions and therapeutic exercises
• Transport patients to and from therapy areas using proper transfer techniques
• Prepare and maintain treatment areas, ensuring cleanliness and organization
• Sanitize and maintain therapy equipment according to protocols
• Schedule patient appointments and handle basic administrative tasks
• Document patient information in electronic health records
• Stock therapy supplies and monitor inventory levels
• Assist with patient positioning and preparation for therapy sessions
• Follow all safety protocols and HIPAA guidelines

Qualifications

• Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications (preferred)
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic physical therapy procedures (preferred)
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems (preferred)
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy requirements
• Excellent patient handling and transfer skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to assist patients and handle therapy equipment
• Previous healthcare experience preferred but not required
• Must be able to work flexible hours including some evenings

Additional Information

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $15.00-$16.00. Pay is based on various factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related
