Job Description
The Procurement Manager role is that of a procurement professional who will act as a single point of accountability for the success of the assigned procurement activities across the company. The position will assist in the identification of sourcing opportunities and development of the sourcing strategy, manage the execution and implementation of procurement initiatives, determine service provider capabilities, and be accountable for the outcomes of the procurement engagement. Responsibilities and accountabilities include the management of the procurement function within various projects and lines of business within the company. Must be able to influence/win support from senior management within the company, including key suppliers outside the organization. Must have a clear understanding of stakeholder needs and technical aspects of the procurement function and related policies in order to organize, develop and manage projects efficiently to deliver products and/or services to internal business clients. Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience as a Procurement Manager
- Experience with Coupa preferred
- Experience with contract systems
- Real Estate background preferred

Responsibilities
- Work as a team leader or team member in the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, researching stakeholder requirements, documenting RFP and coordinating all surrounding activities
- Seek savings opportunities and track savings
- Evaluate and analyze supplier proposals
- Review contracts and possess knowledge of purchasing contracts and contract terminology
- Review and negotiate contracts identifying opportunities and risks
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships
- Arrange performance reviews with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to evaluate supplier performance and make recommendations to address issues and exploit opportunities
- Perform analysis of supplier spend data and process metrics to proactively recommend improvements
- Work with and across stakeholder groups to define needs and aggregate wherever possible
- Act as liaison between the stakeholder and the supplier to determine if optimal approach to meeting validated business requirements
- Provide feedback to stakeholders and management regarding status of projects and initiatives
- Provide education and guidance to stakeholders regarding value of adopting and complying with purchasing policies, procedures, tools, and processes
- Perform analysis of spend data and process metrics to proactively recommend improvements
- Extend the reach of Procurement & Procurement by exercising appropriate influence within project teams, customer groups, and peer groups
