Job Description

Receptionist

Location: Santa Monica, CA

Compensation: $24 to $26 per hour

Schedule: Part-Time (30 hours per week), Onsite, Contract (3-4 Months)

LHH is working with a reputable law firm in seeking a personable and organized Law Firm Receptionist to join their team in Santa Monica. This position is central to ensuring smooth daily operations and a welcoming atmosphere for clients and visitors. Experience working in a law firm setting is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Reception & Client Services: Answer incoming calls from the main line, greet clients, and manage conference room scheduling to ensure smooth client interactions.
  • Document & Office Management: Process incoming documents, maintain copy logs, and manage office supplies.
  • Mail & Administrative Support: Handle mail distribution, assist attorneys with scheduling for remote court appearances, update calendar entries, and provide administrative support across the firm.
  • File Clerk Support: Perform backup file clerk duties such as scanning, filing, and other tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of reception experience.
  • 1-2 years of law office experience.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and provide support in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office technology.
