ONSITE Midlevel-Sr. PLC Robotics Programmer (AAB | Omnicore) in the Decatur, IN area

12 mos+ project

PROJECT SCOPE:

This role involves creating Programmable Logic Controller ( PLC ) programs from the ground up using a specified system.
You will also perform offline PLC programming and development, including importing necessary files.
A key part of this engagement is conducting PLC debugging and carrying out onsite commissioning.
You'll also lend a hand with servo motion control , potentially overseeing as many as 30 axes .
We'll provide reference materials to help with programming tasks.

REQUIREMENTS:

2+ years of experience in PLC programming from scratch.
Want someone strong with ABB and Omnicore .
Proficiency in offline PLC work and file importation.
Understanding of motion control: Rockwell Motion Control, Allen Bradley Motion Control, servo motion, and Variable Frequency Drives ( VFDs ).

HIGHLY PREFERRED:

Experience with Allen Bradley Kinetix 5700 Servos would be a welcome addition.
Any certifications in Robotics, PLC, or Motion Control
