Job Title: SAP EWM Consultant

Locations: Houston, TX (Onsite)

Job Description

Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA EWM (decentralized and embedded environments) and solid integration knowledge with SAP Materials Management (MM) and other SAP modules.

The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end warehouse management solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment while working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams. 

Required Skills:

8-10 years of SAP experience with strong focus on SAP EWM (S/4HANA).
Hands-on experience in both decentralized and embedded EWM systems.
Strong knowledge of warehouse execution processes:
Inbound (Goods Receipt, Put away)
Outbound (Picking, Packing, Shipping)
Inventory management and physical stock movements
Strong integration experience with SAP MM (must-have), SD, and TM.
Experience in configuration, blueprinting, and functional specification writing.
Exposure to full lifecycle SAP implementations.

Core Responsibilities:

1.Requirement Gathering & Solution Design

Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to understand warehouse operations.
Translate business requirements into SAP EWM functional designs aligned with SAP best practices.
Prepare functional specifications and solution documentation.
2. System Configuration

Configure SAP EWM warehouse structures (storage types, sections, bins).
Design and implement inbound/outbound processes:
Goods Receipt (GR)
Goods Issue (GI)
Picking, packing, staging, and shipping
Configure advanced warehouse strategies:
Put away & picking strategies
Cross-docking
Wave management
Slotting and rearrangement (if applicable)
3. Integration Management

Ensure seamless integration of SAP EWM with:
SAP MM (Materials Management) - procurement & inventory flow
SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) - outbound deliveries
SAP TM (Transportation Management) - shipment and logistics coordination
Support interface troubleshooting and end-to-end process alignment.
4. Testing & Deployment

Lead System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Prepare test scenarios and support business users during execution.
Manage go-live planning, cutover activities, and hyper care support.
5. Training & Support

Conduct end-user training sessions.
Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement recommendations.
