SAP FICO Consultant - OpenText VIM / Ariba / S/4HANA

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance , OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) , SAP Ariba , and Central Finance (CFIN) . The ideal candidate should possess deep functional knowledge across SAP Finance and Controlling modules, extensive experience in Accounts Payable processes, invoice automation, integrations, and support engagements.

The consultant will be responsible for solution design, implementation, support, process optimization, integration management, and stakeholder collaboration across Finance, Procurement, and Transportation Management functions.

Key Responsibilities

SAP FICO Implementation & Support

• Lead SAP FICO implementation, enhancement, and support activities in SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Configure and support FI modules including:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Asset Accounting (AA)
  • Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
  • Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
  • Product Costing (PC)
  • Profitability Analysis (COPA)
• Manage Intercompany Accounting processes and financial integrations.
• Provide L2/L3 production support and resolve critical business issues within SLA timelines.

OpenText VIM (Vendor Invoice Management)

• Implement, configure, and optimize OpenText VIM solutions.
• Work extensively with:
  • VIM
  • ICC/ICR/ICR+
  • Business Center
  • Invoice Processing Workflows
• Drive invoice automation initiatives and AP process improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve invoice processing issues.
• Act as SME for OpenText VIM integrations with SAP FI, MM, and TM modules.

SAP Ariba & Procurement Integration

• Support SAP Ariba integration with SAP S/4HANA.
• Manage procurement-to-pay (P2P) process integration.
• Work on Ariba invoice management, supplier collaboration, and procurement workflows.
• Ensure seamless integration between Ariba, FI, MM, and TM modules.

Central Finance (CFIN)

• Participate in SAP Central Finance implementation and support activities.
• Support financial data replication and reconciliation processes.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams for CFIN design and deployment.

Integration & Technical Collaboration

• Collaborate with ABAP and technical teams to design and validate:
  • Reports
  • Interfaces
  • Conversions
  • Enhancements
  • Forms
  • Workflows (RICEFW Objects)
• Develop inbound and outbound interfaces with third-party systems.
• Support integrations involving:
  • SAP MM
  • SAP SD
  • SAP TM
  • Banking Interfaces
  • SWIFT
  • Vertex Tax Solutions

Testing & Change Management

• Prepare and execute:
  • Unit Testing
  • System Integration Testing (SIT)
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Work with SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) and change management processes.
• Support release planning and deployment activities.

Operational Excellence

• Monitor SAP jobs and proactively resolve job failures.
• Ensure compliance with documentation standards.
• Create and maintain:
  • Functional Design Documents (FDD)
  • Process Flows
  • Configuration Documents
  • Operational Procedures
  • Knowledge Transfer Documents

• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and Invoice Management processes.
• Experience with SAP Ariba and Central Finance implementations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
