We’re searching for a School Social Worker to support high school-aged students at a fantastic school district in Denver County, CO.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on high school students' lives while working in a collaborative, student-focused environment. You’ll provide social-emotional support, address behavioral challenges, and collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to implement intervention strategies that foster student success.

Position Details:

• Location: In-person in Denver County, CO (no hybrid or remote opportunities available)
• Guaranteed Hours: 35-40 hours per week
• Grade Levels: High School, 9th-12th grade
• Expected Start: March 2026
• Expected End: May 2026

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to support students’ social, emotional, behavioral, and academic needs
• Conduct assessments to identify student challenges and contribute to appropriate intervention planning
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, counselors, and families to develop coordinated student support strategies
• Respond to student crises with immediate de-escalation, safety planning, and follow?up support
• Connect students and families with community agencies, mental health providers, and social service resources
• Participate in IEP, 504, and student support meetings to share insights and advocate for student needs
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services, interventions, and communication
• Support positive school climate initiatives, including conflict resolution and restorative practices
• Advocate for students by helping remove barriers to attendance, engagement, and academic success

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW).
• Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensure.
• Colorado Department of Education (CDE) License with School Social Worker Endorsement.
• Experience working with diverse student populations and implementing social-emotional interventions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
