The Falcone Group ( is a well-established South Florida-based real estate developer, investor and operator that focuses on ground-up development projects and investment opportunities across multiple asset classes, including multi-family rental apartments, build-to-rent (BTR) homes and townhomes, for-sale single family homes, condo-hotels, and master-planned mixed use communities. The firm is seeking a full-time senior investment acquisitions & development analyst for its national homebuilding subsidiary company (AmeriPride Homes) to be based in the company’s Boca Raton (Florida) office. The candidate will support originations in all underwriting and analysis, from initial inquiry and due diligence, through closing, construction and community asset management, and will be responsible for investment analysis including property-level due diligence, preparation of LOI’s, cash flow modeling, preparation of investment committee memos, and closing support.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Real estate investment origination support – strong interpersonal skills to maintain, solidify and grow front-end relationships with investors, brokers and banks. Candidates must have a desire and strong ability to grow relationships.
• Preparation of presentations and memoranda evaluating investment merits and risks, market dynamics, and projected investment returns.
• Conduct underwriting, due diligence, financial modeling, valuation and credit analysis, including conversations with local brokers in the market to verify market data.
• Present potential transactions to senior management discussing structural issues and pricing strategy.
• Manage transactions and work closely with third-party consultants involved in diligence, entitlement and debt procurement.
• Review and analyze third party reports including appraisal, engineering, environmental, and title reports to identify underwriting risks.
• Interface with investors to compile required data and information, and resolve diligence related issues while mitigating risks.
• Develop internal deal memos for investment committee review.
• Assist leadership and sales & marketing team with data collection, model updating and communication.
• Execute ad hoc tasks and support senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CFA a plus).
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in real estate investment analysis, preferably within a private equity, investment banking, brokerage or real estate development firm.
• Real estate development and investment underwriting experience
• Strong analytical and writing skills
• Strong Microsoft Excel and modeling skills
• Strong willingness to pick up the phone and communicate with others verbally
• Strong listener and ability to ask questions in order to build relationships and learn how to improve terms to effectively pursue transactions
• Strong work ethic and ability to interface with senior management
• Ability to handle multiple assignments and deals
• Proven ability to run a deal independently and work as a team
• Skill at working under tight deadlines and high pressure and meeting deadlines
