We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher / Learning Specialist to join a supportive educational team in Thornton, Colorado . • Provide individualized and small-group instruction to high school students with diverse learning needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Adapt curriculum, instructional strategies, and assessments to meet individual student goals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure inclusive learning experiences.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages student growth.

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid Colorado Special Education Teaching License (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Experience working with high school students and supporting diverse learning needs is preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
• Passion for helping students reach their full academic and personal potential.
