The Zimmerman Agency—one of the leading integrated PR firms—seeks a strategic thinker, dynamic communicator, and idea-driven leader to join our PR team as a Senior Account Manager.

This role is for someone with 3-5 years of experience who excels at guiding client relationships, shaping smart strategies, generating breakthrough creative ideas, and driving flawless execution across integrated programs, collaborating closely with a supervisor to ensure strategic alignment.

You should be confident presenting to clients, proactive in anticipating needs and skilled at leading a team toward meaningful outcomes.

• Drive the development of compelling strategies, angles, campaigns, and creative ideas that break through clutter and earn meaningful media attention.
• Lead planning and execution of media and consumer activations, events, insider moments, and on-the-ground experiences that generate strong content and coverage.
• Mine for stories, track emerging cultural and industry trends, and anticipate opportunities to secure exposure and elevate client relevance.
• Oversee high-level media relations efforts, build strong media relationships, shape pitch narratives, and serve as a trusted voice in proactive and reactive communications.
• Lead influencer strategies, event development, thought leadership programs, and brand storytelling initiatives.
• Partner with senior leadership on growth opportunities, including strategic recommendations, research, and presentation development.
• Build a national-level portfolio that spans categories and industries—without the cost or lifestyle demands of New York or LA.
