The firm has completed approximately $2.5 billion in real estate transactions spanning New York City, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Texas, the Carolinas, Tennessee, Florida, California and Montana.

Arel Capital is now bringing the property management of its existing multifamily portfolio in-house, creating an opportunity to build internal operational capabilities supported by Yardi Voyager, the industry-leading property management system.

Job Purpose

This role will assist in the configuration, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization of Yardi Voyager across the multifamily portfolio.

The analyst will collaborate with internal stakeholders—including property managers, accounting, asset management, and technology teams—to ensure a smooth implementation and efficient operational workflows within the Yardi environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in the deployment and configuration of Yardi Voyager modules for multifamily operations (Residential, Rent Café, Work Orders/Maintenance, AP/AR, Job Cost, etc.).

• Support data migration efforts, including data cleaning, mapping, validation, and upload for property, tenant, and lease records.

• Conduct system testing, including feature validation, regression testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and documentation of issues and resolutions.

• Work with senior team members to translate operational requirements into workflows, configuration elements, and Yardi setup specifications.

• Help create SOPs, training materials, user guides, and reference documentation for property management and accounting teams.

• Provide first-line support to users during and after implementation, including troubleshooting and submitting tickets to Yardi when necessary.

• Participate in the rollout of ongoing system enhancements, upgrades, and module expansions.

• Perform quality assurance by reviewing system outputs for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with operational objectives.

•Collaborate across teams to ensure successful onboarding of new properties into the Yardi platform.

Skills and Competencies Required

•Hands-on familiarity with Yardi Voyager, either through academic experience, internship, prior role, or formal training.

•Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

•Ability to understand and document business requirements, workflows, and processes.

•Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams with varying technical backgrounds.

•Comfort working with data, including cleaning, validating, and interpreting datasets.

•Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and support multiple concurrent projects.

•A proactive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to learn and grow.

Education and Experience Required

•Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Business, Real Estate, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

•Experience with Yardi Voyager in an internship, academic project, entry-level role, or certification program strongly preferred.

•Exposure to multifamily real estate operations or property management workflows is a plus.

•Basic proficiency with Excel; familiarity with SQL or reporting tools considered an asset.
