Join Our Team as a Junior SharePoint Administrator/Developer (Remote, 12-Month Contract)

Are you a motivated SharePoint professional looking to make an impact in a dynamic environment? Tech Valley Talent is seeking a dedicated SharePoint Developer/Administrator to support our client’s use of SharePoint Online . This long-term contract opportunity offers a chance to work remotely with a collaborative team dedicated to delivering innovative solutions for the public sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and resolve a backlog of SharePoint tickets efficiently
• Assist in the development and implementation of processes transitioning from SharePoint to other systems
• Support site creation, maintenance, permissions, and user support
• Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint sites, workflows, and solutions
• Troubleshoot technical issues across SharePoint Online environments
• Collaborate with team members during sprint planning, daily standups, and documentation efforts

Required Skills:

• 2-3 years of experience with SharePoint Online administration and development
• Proficiency managing SharePoint permissions and site configurations
• Experience working with Jira tickets and documentation libraries
• Strong time management and ability to work independently
• Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with SharePoint site archival and migration projects
• Knowledge of SharePoint workflows and automation
• Familiarity with other Microsoft 365 tools
• Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2-3 years of relevant SharePoint online experience in a support or developmental role
• Prior experience in public or government sector environments is a plus

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively
• Participation in weekly sprint planning on Fridays
• Prior experience with managing high-volume queues and providing excellent customer support
