Job Description

An internationally recognized, AmLaw 100 firm with a top-tier Product Liability and Product Life Cycle practice is seeking an Associate (3–5 years) to join its New York office.

The team advises and represents industry-leading companies across cutting-edge sectors including technology, automotive and autonomous vehicles, medical devices, consumer products, and pharmaceuticals. The practice handles complex product liability litigation and provides strategic counsel to clients at every stage of the product life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Handle product liability litigation matters as part of a collaborative team
• Draft briefs, correspondence, and responses to written discovery
• Conduct depositions, oral arguments, and expert interviews
• Manage document collection, review, and production
• Support causation and failure analysis in complex product matters
• Assist with multidistrict litigation and coordinated proceedings

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in product liability litigation at an AmLaw 200 firm
• Experience drafting motions, briefs, and handling written discovery; conducting depositions and working with experts
• Familiarity with multidistrict litigation or coordinated proceedings is preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills with excellent case management abilities
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with a strong academic record
• Admission to practice in New York
